Protection against Ram Raids


Challenger designed and developed the chainguard product in the mid 1990's. Since then it has been installed on hundreds of ATM's both in New Zealand and Australia. There are many cases where the chainguard has foiled a Ram Raid attempt.

Operation


The base plate is fixed to the ground and the high strength chains are passed into the safe compartment of the ATM. During a physical attack such as a ram raid, the chainguard provides additional security and reduces the risk of a successful attempt.
