ESSA Market Statistics

This month we asked each member to share company specific data for annual ESSA market statistics. Unfortunately, we received very few answers; therefore, we Increased the answering period until 6 August 2021.

The survey only asks if you are willing to share company specific data. The detailed data as such is not needed to complete the survey. Each ESSA member received a link to take part. Would you please check your email inbox for details?

We know that not every ESSA member will be willing to share their data and we accept such a decision. However, in this case, it would be appropriate to answer the short survey and check the boxes so that we know that you are not able to share the data.

Only if we know the opinion of all the ESSA members we can then decide,  what areas the  ESSA survey would be helpful.

We want to reiterate that we will not share any company specific data with anyone.

Service Marks

At the ESSA General Assembly 2018 the European Certification Body GmbH held a presentation on their recommendations for service activities on secure storage units.

Meanwhile, six ESSA members are following these guidelines and are regularly audited  on the document ECB•S R11.

Since June 2021  audited companies can confirm that their service has been completed according to the guidelines with a mark. The metal plate costs 3,00 € per piece and is only sent to the accepted service companies.
